The CSB96/P separator, unlike the CSB40-SP model, is activated simply by a 12V signal under key (for example stereo power signal), instead of by the D+ signal coming from the alternator.
The separator is used for parallel charging of car and service batteries.
It is suitable for 2 batteries max 120Ah 12V. The parallel occurs when the engine is started. In this way the alternator recharges both batteries. At the same time, if necessary, the relay that powers the trivalent refrigerator is also energized. Inside the separator, the engine battery charging function is also incorporated: When the service battery is recharged by 230V or by the solar panel, a part of the charge will be transferred to the engine battery (2A). The following functions are also implemented: - Output connection of the general positive of 12V users with integrated 30A fuse (connected to the service battery) - Auxiliary positive output connection (e.g. anti-theft device, step, radio, etc.) 12V with integrated fuse (connected to the engine battery).
The CSB96/P replaces the older CSB60 model.
