The CBE CB516-24 switching battery charger ?CB500? series 24V is able to charge lead batteries ( lead-acid and lead-gel ) automatically. The battery charger is protected against overtemperature and the 24V outputs are protected against short circuit and reverse polarity.
Four-cycle charging system for 24V batteries.
Charge the batteries with maximum current until the charging voltage is reached.
NB: The end of charge is reached only if the battery is efficient.
When the end of charge threshold is reached, the CB516-24 battery charger continues to charge for 90 minutes ( lead-acid batteries ) or 8 hours (lead-gel batteries) at constant voltage.
Constant voltage maintenance 27.6V ( gel batt. ) or 27.0V ( acid batt. ).
After 10 hours of maintenance, the battery charger switches to the stand-by phase and resumes charging only when the battery voltage drops below 26V.
High frequency switching technology allows for high efficiency with reduced weight and size.
