The L1881 interior lamp is a LED work light used to illuminate the work area in vehicles off the public road.If you want to change the existing incandescent/halogen lighting to the LED lighting installation, no modifications are required except replacing the lamps. When installing new/additional LED lighting, you should check the current capacity of the switch you are going to connect the lamp to.
